Last Week: June 18th - 24th

I feel like last week was fairly full.  On Sunday , Jessica and the kids did Father's Day right. Breakfast enchiladas, nachos for dinner, and a weird tabletop wooden posable hand for storing/hanging stuff that I'd fawned over whe we went to Ikea a couple of weeks ago. That was a nice surprise. Also, I finally got Sam to play Fortnite with me. He was worried to not be good, but we went 3-0 as a tram that first night, which was really exciting. I can't remember much interesting from Monday , other than Nadia went to summer school and Sam started Camp FAME at Cumberland Univeristy. Sam and I went to Goodwill that night.  On Tuesday , I tried new coffee shop in Lebanon after dropping Sam off at Camp FAME, before I had to get Nadia from summer school at 10. Nadia and I came home to eat and rest, then went bowling. At first I was irritated that the Hermitage Strike and Spare folks put us on a lane that hat a big ol' spot worn out about five feet into it, but then Nadia's

I didn't do much on Sunday.  On Monday, Nadia and I played hide and seek, and then the kids and I went to Don Fox park for a bit. Nadia played on the playground while Sam read Good Omens and snuck off to buy Kona Ice with his own money.  On Tuesday, Nadia and I went to tour Jessica's decorations at ATC. They're awesome, as usual.  On Wednesday, I scheduled a bunch of BNN social media posts.  On Thursday, the kids and I went to Goodwill for Sam to search for clothes while Nadia tried out the used exercise equipment. I tore my middle knuckle up by not properly preparing for boxing exercises.  On Friday, dad and I retreived a news desk from Brentoow that popped up on Facebook Marketplace the day before. It's a $7,000 desk that I bought for $100. It's amazing. It's also heavy.  On Saturday, I took Sam with me to the Wilson County Black History Committee Juneteenth Celebration. We had June Juice, catfish sandwiches, and fries. I ran into Bill Moss and Tommy Bryan, an

Last weekend, the Peaches went to Atlanta for Sam's birthday. We left Saturday morning, toured Ikea and bought some stuff, then went to the hotel. Jessica and Nadia took advantage of the pool while Sam and I checked out the skybridge, which wasn't especially impressive, but we had fun. We ate room service to close out the night, and watched drones in the sky over downtown. I think we settled on the probability that they were part of a helicopter search the police were conducting. While everyone was still sleeping Sunday morning, I walked to the location of the Baby Driver coffee run scene, recorded some video, and walked the path Baby walked during the scene. I have a new appreciation for everyone it took to coordinate that scene. Very impressive. We went to the Georgia Aquarium, which was definitely better than the Tennessee one, and that's saying a lot because the Tennessee Aquairum is pretty dang good. We caught a dolphin show and a sea lion show, and both were very wort
